DB1 Intern
Job Summary
As a Data Centre Technician Intern, you will be an integral part of our operations team, responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure and delivering exceptional service to our data center customers. Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Assist in providing technical support to customers, addressing their queries and concerns
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
Installations
- Assist in the installation and configuration of data center equipment and systems
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient installations
Monitoring/Alerts
- Monitor data center infrastructure and systems to identify and address any potential issues
- Respond to alerts and alarms promptly, escalating as necessary
General
- Collaborate with the team to perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities, including equipment inventory and service records
Safety
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel
Qualifications
- High school diploma, preferably in Electrical/Electronics or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers
- Customer-oriented mindset, demonstrating seriousness, attention to detail, and rigor
