Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the management of one complete product portfolio and provide oversight in support of that portfolio by leveraging partnerships with other technology teams (e.g., SRE, Cloud Engineering, Architecture, Solutions), Product Management stakeholders, vendors and business leaders.
This includes responsibility for directing and overseeing engineering teams and all the work across an entire capability.
This role works closely with product leaders and across enterprise teams in order to ensure the delivery and reliability of technology solutions and capabilities.
This is a leader of people who clears obstacles for his/her team while empowering and enabling others to solve complex technical and business problems. To be successful, the individual in this role must bring a strong combination of business and technical acumen and be able to provide solutions that balance the unique needs of both the business and Technology.

What you will do
• Partners with the product team to establish the priorities across an entire portfolio of product groups.
• Manages software engineering teams that design, build, and maintain solutions across multiple technology products; ensures the translation of business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions.
• Builds and maintains partnerships with all functions to ensure technology team members understand business needs, functional specifications, and user journeys.
• Provides insight and guidance and resolves cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the application development, testing, implementation, and support lifecycle across an entire portfolio of product groups.
• Ensures the creation of standard operating procedures, objectives and key results, and overall operationalization of assigned services or applications within a product group.
• Ensures mechanisms are in place that allows teams to resolve production issues within defined standard level agreements.
• Monitors testing activities from a high level, ensuring that all testing efforts align to the team's testing strategy; meets with testing teams when necessary to review the progress of testing efforts.
• Responsible for departmental budget and forecasting decisions and budget allocation; ensures technical solutions are delivered and maintained in a cost-effective manner.
• Partners with cross-functional leaders to ensure technology solutions built by the engineering team align to overall architectural and business standards.
• Ensures the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining trusting relationships with internal customers.
• Influences and establishes best-in-class engineering practices through solid design decisions and tools.
• Sets goal, strategies, and budgets and oversees the deployment of large/enterprise-scale initiatives and encourages a data-driven culture to improve the efficiency, scalability, stability, and security of applications.
• Manages a portfolio of services or applications and provides resources in support of the applications by leveraging partnerships with technology teams, vendors, and business leaders.
• Leads teams through all technology solution development phases by ensuring teams understand and adhere to company methodology, policies, standards, and controls; ensures team members are trained in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, models, and processes.
• Leads a team in support of achieving the company's mission. Manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
• 10 years of IT experience
• 6 years of experience in software engineering or related field
• Experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
• 5 years of experience leading global technology teams with direct report responsibility
• 2 years of experience working closely with senior leadership
• 3 years of experience in managing operational and/or financial budgets, including the managing of 3rd party vendors and/or software providers
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in a leadership role of a large matrixed organization
• Experience managing the development, implementation, and integration of multiple and/or complex business systems within an organization
• IT consulting experience
• Experience in IT Management in the retail industry
• 4 years of experience in software development in an agile environment
• Second level IT management experience

Pay Range: $147,400.00 - $280,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
