Job Overview:

 

The Channel Marketing Associate will play an integral role in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for US Retail, Global, and Institutional markets and clients, driving the marketing of Lord Abbett products to clients and prospects. This position requires outstanding teamwork and collaboration, with a strong emphasis on the ability to work closely with multiple departments throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and a desire to develop a working knowledge of financial products and marketing trends.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Contribute to development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for US Retail, Global and Institutional markets and clients, driving the marketing of Lord Abbett products to clients and prospects
  • Oversee the execution of email marketing initiatives, including briefing, creative review, quality assurance, segmentation, opt-in, deployment, tracking and optimization
  • Serve as marketing point-of-contact for Sales teams and develop working strong relationships to ensure efficient collaboration
  • Contribute to lead generation and nurturing, working closely with Sales and Data teams to maximize effectiveness of lead scoring and sharing
  • Collaborate with Product, Investment and Sales team members to inform new and updated content and experiences, including presentations, sales pieces and campaign landing pages
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics team members to measure, analyze and optimize marketing efforts and drive business growth
  • Lead content development and drive promotional efforts for webinars from start to finish, including developing presentations with portfolio managers, maximizing attendance, sharing leads with sales teams and measuring impact
  • Present campaign results with Client Services leaders to inform and validate the marketing strategy and demonstrate the value marketing delivers
  • Seek to deeply understand key audience segments and research audience needs in order to improve effectiveness of marketing
  • Work closely with Head of Channel.Marketing to lead marketing efforts for specific segments, financial firms and/or products

You'll need to have:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 0-2 years relevant experience in marketing or selling financial products to financial advisors
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives
  • Understanding of the needs of our clients and prospects
  • Active interest in new and emerging trends in marketing and financial services
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Hands-on email marketing experience preferred, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget)
  • Experience with writing short-form marketing content (email, landing pages)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of HTML preferred
  • Series 7 license and/or willingness to acquire

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $90,000-$100,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
