Position: Individual Giving Manager

Department: Advancement & Innovation

Role Overview: Reporting to the Associate Director, Individual Giving, the Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of prospects and donors, developing strategies to secure contributions and collaborating with the Individual Giving team to support Lincoln Center's mission and goals. This role involves identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making 5+ figure gifts and promoting planned giving opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have a proven record of securing mid to high-level gifts with an interest in, and basic understanding of, planned giving. They will be self-motivated, self-sufficient, and driven to collaborate with others to achieve success. We are looking for a dynamic colleague who brings strategic, proactive, and forward-thinking to the team.

What you'll get to do here:

Donor Cultivation and Solicitation

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gift prospects at the $10,000+ level.
  • Promote and manage the Bravo Society planned giving program by providing donors and prospects with clear and accurate information about giving vehicles and benefits.
  • Collaborate with Lincoln Center's Legal and Finance teams to ensure appropriate handling of planned gifts.
  • Develop marketing materials and outreach strategies for the Bravo Society.

Donor Stewardship

  • Partner with the team's Associate Directors to develop and implement comprehensive stewardship and upgrade plans to deepen support and ensure ongoing engagement with the portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of donor interactions and contributions in the organization's database.

Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to identify gift prospects and develop engagement strategies.
  • Partner with Individual Giving team members to create compelling materials and messages that support giving initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at fundraising events, meetings, and other activities to build awareness and support for the Advancement & Innovation department's efforts.

You'll be a great fit if you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years' experience preferred or equivalent years of related experience required. Minimum of 2 year Leadership experience required.
  • 3-4 years of experience in front-line fundraising, with a proven track record of securing gifts, preferably in a cultural or performing arts organization with a knowledge of the New York philanthropic community.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Entrepreneurial and results-oriented with a strong ability to set priorities and work towards outcomes in an organized, strategic manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, research resources, and donor management and CRM platforms (Tessitura, or similar.)
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the arts and mission of Lincoln Center.
