Description

The USRM Cross-Claims Analytics team is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to support analytics for our Claims Telematics program. In this role, you will deliver actionable and valuable data-driven analytical insights that support our Claims strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, assist in the evaluation and prioritization of high-value strategic efforts, and provide meaningful recommendations to senior leaders that drive improved outcomes across the Claims organization. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and thrives in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct moderate to high complexity analysis and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders that inform profitability, growth, and/or customer satisfaction outcomes
  • Develop reporting tools and KPIs to provide insight into financial performance, initiative success, and other business intelligence.
  • Partner with colleagues to identify, quantify, and monitor operational process and technology driven improvements
  • Evaluate and analyze results relative to benchmarks; understand, explain, and communicate variances, and adapt solutions to reflect emerging insights
  • Manage aspects of moderate to complex projects and ad-hoc requests by independently partnering with cross-functional partners to enable success of operational goals
  • Collaborate with the Data Office and technology teams to define and document requirements for the integration of new data sources, ensuring alignment with organizational data governance standards and enhancing data accessibility for analytics initiatives.
  • Develop, update, and monitor reports and SAS queries that provide insights on key performance indicators and trends. Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards that provide data visualization and insights to stakeholders.
This is a Hybrid role (Plano, Boston, or Portsmouth),requiring two days a week in the office, consistent with corporate guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 3 years, typically 4 or more years of experience, or equivalent, is required.
  • Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field are preferred fields of study.
  • Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles and methodologies, and techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills. Solid understanding of business to improve business outcomes.
