The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

We are hiring a Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics, on the Agency Insights team. As we grow and scale the Comparion and Direct Choice channels, we are constantly solving challenging problems, building foundational capabilities, and driving new initiatives to push our agencies to new heights. This position is focused on developing analytics that drive strategic initiatives for the organization; understanding the current state of a growing business and making data-driven recommendations on how to improve our programs. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners across departments, present findings, and utilize the power of data to help inform the future direction of multiple channels while ensuring a closed-loop feedback process. There is also an opportunity to develop and demonstrate project and stakeholder management skills by taking a lead role on high-visibility initiatives delivering measurable value to the organization.
Ideal candidates will have natural curiosity and seek to find answers to complex questions, while also project managing and driving workstreams forward with limited guidance.
This position may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location.
Responsibilities:
- Drives program performance and optimization for our channels and products (Comparion, DRC Choice, Digital Choice), including monitoring results, conducting deep dive analysis, and providing recommendations to maximize monetization.
- Tracks marketing spend and analyzes results for Comparion channel. Marketing programs include advertising, company web pages, social media ads, Google listings and more.
- Analyzes and reports on Comparion's lead buying initiatives and makes recommendations for optimizing programs
- Builds and maintains Lifetime Value models by channel and product, helping estimate key metrics such as Non-Traditional Revenue (NTR), PTOI, and marketing ROI.
- Utilizes more advanced statistical techniques to solve business problems.
- Manages multiple complex projects, while providing technical and analytical assessments of challenges facing the business.
- Presents findings / recommendations which impact profitability, growth, and/or customer satisfaction.
- Leads discussions with senior leadership at the department or functional level.
- Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, suggesting improvements and collaborating with others in implementing them.
- Fosters the development of teammates by sharing expertise and experience through training or reviewing their work.
- Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum 3 years, typically 4 or more years of experience, or equivalent, is required.
- Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field are preferred fields of study.
- Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles and methodologies, and techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.), PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
- Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills. Solid understanding of business to improve business outcomes.
