The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

As the Portfolio Director, Sourcing Strategy you will be a part of the People, Purpose & Brand (PP&B) Talent Pipeline organization, a team that partners with business and function leaders to define skill needs for today and tomorrow and co-create offerings in service of selecting and developing our talent and evolving our diverse, global workforce to grow and contribute to our shared purpose and enterprise goals.

You will be responsible for e xpand ing and cultivat ing a diverse portfolio of talent sources within and outside Liberty . You will provide global thought leadership on sourcing strategy, working closely with the Pipeline Planning team as well as partners from across the enterprise including Acquisition & Integration , Enterprise Business Process Solutions , Global Brand & Communications (GB&C), and Talent Enablement & Operations to ensure a connected network of sources . As a part of the Talent Attraction & Onboarding team, you will also provide global thought leadership which may include partnering, guiding and directing other talent professionals who design and implement solutions that can be scaled across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evolve criteria to Translate Pipeline plan into Talent Sources at the Enterprise and business/function unit level based on when the talent and skills are needed, where, and at what capacity .
  • Develop sourcing strategies in collaboration with business leaders, talent partners, and other key stakeholders to connect talent pipeline needs to the right talent sources (e.g., internal talent ready now or requiring reskilling, external talent, schools, platforms, companies).
  • Expand and cultivate talent sources to drive diversity and equity.
  • Work with GB&C partners to create tailored marketing and engagement methodologies for each talent source.
  • Partner to shape cultivation strategy for external sources of talent with Enterprise Business Process Solutions, M&A, GB&C, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Track impact of each talent source on Liberty performance by monitoring Quality of Hire metrics by source.

  • Trusted Partner : Demonstrated ability to build collaborative and trusting relationships across all levels of the organization, including senior and executive levels, with a proven ability to manage a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to influence positive outcomes as normally acquired through previous leadership experience.
  • Strong T hought L eadership : As demonstrated through writing, presentations and/or participation in professional organizations with the ability to own and manag e multiple projects simultaneously .
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in H uman R esources , Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Adept at problem solving and critical thinking, project management, top-down, executive-level communication, teamwork, partnership, and collaboration, change agility (adapting to changing priorities, drive and resilience) and ownership of the work and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • S trategic sourcing (e.g., use of outsourcing, contingent labor, M&A, job boards, executive search) ; data analysis; strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and their application sourcing strategy ; knowledge of audience segmentation and marketing strategy.
