As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of our advertising and social media programs to drive brand awareness, consideration, and preference among insurance brokers and buyers. Working closely with Segment Marketing Managers and our Creative Services team, you will help develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive engagement with our target audiences and promote Liberty Mutual as a leading global commercial and specialty insurance provider.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of and manage the execution of annual media plans to extend the reach of our messages in market, partnering with media agency to finalize and implement plan, including publishers, spend, tactics, production schedule, and digital measurement. Collaborate with Marketing segment leads and Creative Services team to identify messages and develop assets that align with business priorities and brand guidelines.
  • Manage sponsored content thought-leadership opportunities within the media plan, working with cross-functional partners including PR, Marketing and Business stakeholders to identify topics and messaging that demonstrates our expertise and delivers value to our external audiences.
  • Support and contribute to creative ideation and campaign development, working collaboratively with the Creative Services team and Marketing segment leads to inform strategy. Provide media channel insights (e.g. social, digital) and competitive intelligence to drive best in class creative executions.
  • Manage social media execution for GRS North America profiles and Executive LinkedIn program, including content publishing, cross-sharing strategy, measurement, and overall tone and presence. Partner with Marketing segment leads, Creative Services team, and other business stakeholders to develop content and editorial calendars and ensure flawless delivery and execution of assets. Responsible for social listening and response.
  • Manage Hearsay social media employee program to elevate presence of external facing employees on LinkedIn, including onboarding and training, communication, content management, and measurement to drive adoption and usage. Partner with cross-functional marketing colleagues to populate Hearsay channel with strategically relevant content that drives segment business goals.
  • Help identify best and new practices to drive the social media and advertising program efficiency, effectiveness, and quality, acting as internal consultant and subject matter expert to other marketing and distribution departments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish and evaluate metrics and performance benchmarks. Synthesize results and share learnings across the organization, including partners, colleagues, senior leadership, etc.
  • Ensure that projects support marketing plans and strategies, follow Liberty Mutual brand guidelines, are consistent with communication standards, and are completed within desired timelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience within a marketing driven organization
  • Experience in project management/communications platforms such as WorkFront and Basecamp is preferred.
  • Experience with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr and Hearsay is preferred
  • Requires advanced knowledge of marketing communications principles and practices
  • Experience working with and/or managing outside agencies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple priorities
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technologies
  • Strong organizational, coordination, project management, and analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Budget management and project management experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Proactively seeks to learn and apply new tactics and job skills to enhance current role and improve broader teams performance
  • Demonstrates understanding of insurance industry, products, services, and trends
  • Actively seeks to expand and integrate marketing knowledge and skills into recommendations, as well as function responsibilities and the connection to the broader organization
