Description and Requirements
At Lenovo we strive to put more innovation in the hands of more people so they can do more amazing things. We are currently seeking an Warehouse Operator II to join our team based in our 240,000 square feet fulfillment and manufacturing center in Whitsett, NC (between Greensboro/Burlington).
Responsibilities:
- Analyze workload at beginning of shift and move headcount to appropriate positions within the process to be most efficient.
- Help manage dunnage inventory and send reports daily if needed.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed by priority Troubleshoot problem deliveries daily to closure.
- Work with peers from other areas daily to manipulate head count where needed.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve and or optimize our warehouse procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Forklift certification is required with Stand-up and Reach Truck.
- Ability to stand or walk up to 12 hours a day.
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and late evenings.
- You will be an order picker on a forklift and must be able to use SAP and work as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Team player with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve and or optimize our warehouse procedures.
