Description and Requirements
Role Overview
As a Sr. Global Account Manager at Lenovo, you will manage and expand named strategic accounts in the Seattle area. You will work closely with high-profile clients, leveraging Lenovo's comprehensive product and service portfolio to meet their needs and drive business growth. This role requires a consultative selling approach, a deep understanding of client business processes, and navigating complex sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop solid and long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within assigned global accounts.
- Serve as clients' primary point of contact, addressing their needs and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and service delivery, to develop tailored solutions for clients.
Consultative Selling:
- Understand clients' business challenges and objectives, providing consultative advice and proposing effective solutions.
- Present Lenovo's product and service offerings in a compelling manner, demonstrating value and ROI.
Market and Industry Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Account Management:
- Monitor account performance, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and service level expectations.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance, opportunities for improvement, and plans.
- Build, present, and execute on Account Plan Reviews (APR)
Reporting and Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status, sales activities, and market conditions to senior management.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, MBA or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
- 10+ years of sales experience
Preferred qualifications
- Proven track record of successful sales
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements.
- Proven ability to grow a business with a global organization as a client.
- Excellent presentation skills and executive presence
