Description and Requirements

Our NA Alliances team is focused on developing and managing strategic relationships with critical partner organizations to enable joint objectives. We are seeking a highly skilled leader to join our NA Alliances team with the responsibility of leading all facets of our partner meets comp programs. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Working closely with sales to educate and evangelize our various partner programs
  • Investigating, analyzing, and assisting with funding for specific sales opportunities
  • Ongoing evaluation of the meets comp sales targets, performance metrics, risk analysis, reporting, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, create and manage NA Meets Comp Program across all segments for the Commercial Category team in order to maximize rebate revenue and profit margin
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including NA Sales teams (Global, Large Enterprise, Public Sector, Healthcare and Workstations) and Alliance partners
  • Provide ongoing Meets Comp program awareness, education, training and support for NA Field & ISR sales teams
  • Educate and assist sales on Meets Comp and other program options to help drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Produce quarterly reporting to claim Alliance Partner rebates and publish program status reports for the Commercial leadership team
  • Budget and track financial success of key programs, making program suggestions and alterations as needed
  • Work across a matrixed organization to ensure maximum program participation, communication and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with WW Commercial Alliances team to continue enhance reporting tools and process for NA Sales teams
  • Build a solid understanding of funding models (buckets) available from WW or NA to support NA Sales opportunities (e.g. Mega & Grande funding, MOU etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of industry experience with a Bachelor's degree. MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years experience in partner management/ business development ecosystem
  • Exceptional presentation skills and proven ability to interact with senior-level executives
  • Passionate self-starter, structured and able to move with speed to implement ideas and drive business engagement
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment
  • Self driven, persistent and collaborative
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of Lenovo and/or partner company products and services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience negotiating and closing complex business deals as well as building internal and external relationships on executive level in a complex and dynamic organization
  • Strong hands-on, results-driven mentality combined with the ability to think both strategically and tactically
  • Prior sales, finance, technical alliance and/or sales operations experience
  • Proven analytical skills including experience with financial analysis to drive data-driven discussions
