Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced strategic leader to direct worldwide marketing efforts and transformation within our ISO organization, and to manage, and maximize alliance funding programs for IDG globally. This role involves working across global and regional marketing, sales, and finance teams while liaising with the Worldwide Alliances team. Reporting to the WW IDG ISO Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead a team that engages with key hardware and software technology organizations, central to Lenovo and our partners' joint success. This leader will build and maintain strong relationships with external alliance partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring positive strategic engagement throughout the organization. There will be a high degree of executive interaction internally and externally. This role will help build and articulate quarterly and annual collaborative investments to support Lenovo's key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a successful track record of partner marketing, budget management, and joint planning with the detail orientation to deeply understand the financials and relationships that will fuel long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence the strategy and execution of worldwide marketing funding programs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure clear understanding and execution of all investments.
  • Build, maintain, and develop relationships with alliance partners and internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, and finance.
  • Align alliance partners' objectives with internal plans to maximize financial support.
  • Demonstrate strong operational and analytical skills.
  • Provide ongoing education, training, and support for sales and marketing teams.
  • Deliver quarterly reports to claim alliance partner funding and publish program status insights and opportunities.
  • Work across a matrixed organization to ensure maximum program participation, communication, and effectiveness.
  • Budget and track the financial success of key programs, making suggestions and alterations as needed.
  • Maximize profits through focused operational execution with key strategic alliance partners and Lenovo programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and co-marketing programs, ideally with strategic partners and business development in the technology industry.
  • 3+ years of strategic support to executive leadership.

  • Proven track record in building partner marketing strategies and budget plans.
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments and at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and solve problems creatively.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to make specific recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and identify solutions to challenges.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $160k - 260K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
