Description and Requirements

The Logistics Operations Specialist plays a critical role in controlling and monitoring all logistics processes within the country, ensuring that the requirements of both internal and external clients are executed accurately and in a timely manner.

This position also offers the opportunity to develop expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in various logistics and supply chain topics by participating in improvement projects aimed at achieving cost savings, enhancing efficiencies, and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support to Logistics Management:

Provide comprehensive support for logistics management activities.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Analyze information and generate reports on various logistics aspects, including shipments in transit, cargo arrivals, customs processes, inventory reconciliation, warehousing, and last-mile operations.
  • RMA Processing in MS Dynamics:
    Manage return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), including creation, tracking, and closure within MS Dynamics.
  • Certificate and Shipment Management:
    Issue CIP/CIF certificates and track shipments (IDG/ISG).
  • Inventory and Write-Offs Management:
    Execute inventory write-offs for Lenc, Gams and demos.
    Process claims and manage associated serial number write-offs.
  • Scrap Inventory Monitoring:
    Monitor scrap inventory levels and coordinate appropriate actions for their disposition (e.g., refurbishing, harvesting, or scrapping).
  • Serial Number Adjustments:
    Process adjustments for serial numbers.
  • Documentation and Process Optimization:
    Develop and prepare procedures, instructions and operational workflows to enhance area efficiency.
  • Operational Reporting:
    Prepare and present a summary of the country's operational status during regional weekly follow-up calls.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related field.
    • Postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Project Management.
  • Language Proficiency:

    • Intermediate to advanced level of English.
  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduation experience with a proven track record in leveraging technology to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and improve sustainability within logistics and/or supply chain operations.
    • Experience in areas such as last-mile logistics, distribution center operations, and foreign trade operations.
  • Mandatory Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level in MS Dynamics, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
  • Desirable Knowledge and Experience:
    • SAP
    • Power BI
    • Power Automate
    • Data analysis and big data mining
    • Process optimization methodologies
