Description and Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Business Partner (FBP) to join our Cloud Business team. The FBP will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of our hybrid cloud services. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen who can contribute to the incubation of new business initiatives, establish processes, and manage the full P&L of the cloud business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Incubation:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the growth and profitability of hybrid cloud services.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to incubate new business ideas and drive their successful execution.
2. Process Establishment:
- Design and establish financial processes and controls to ensure efficiency and compliance across the cloud business.
- Continuously improve existing processes to enhance productivity and financial governance.
3. New Product Investment and Tracking:
- Evaluate and analyze investment opportunities for new cloud products, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Track and report on the financial performance of new products, providing insights to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
4. Full P&L Ownership:
- Manage the entire P&L for the cloud business, including revenue, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Monitor and analyze top-line and bottom-line performance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
5. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets for the cloud business unit.
- Provide regular financial reports and insights to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making.
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a financial liaison between the cloud business unit and other departments, including sales, product development, and operations.
- Communicate complex financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks associated with cloud business operations, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ or more years of experience in finance leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- International finance experience
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations
- Executive experience with SaaS business models and their associated revenue recognition
- Professional certification (ex: Certified Public Accountant)
