Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a creative and proactive EMEA Marketing Channel Manager to drive B2B channel engagement, optimize operational processes, and oversee budget management across the region. This role involves collaborating with distributors and resellers to enhance partner relationships, manage marketing development funds (MDF), and support strategic initiatives to grow Lenovo's market share and partner loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement quarterly co-marketing plans with distributors and resellers, aligning MDF allocations to amplify Lenovo-owned and partner-driven initiatives.
  • Sales Support Integration: Collaborate with channel sales teams to translate business strategy into actionable marketing plans that align with account-specific objectives.
  • Partner Engagement Events: Organize and execute channel events, such as dealer conferences, training sessions, and VIP reseller activities, to build partner relationships and enhance product awareness.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the operational aspects of EMEA marketing, from budget allocation to after-execution payment processes, ensuring compliance with partner requirements.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the administration of marketing budgets, including third-party funding from key partners (e.g., Microsoft, Intel, AMD), ensuring adherence to Lenovo's financial strategies.
  • Vendor Funding Coordination: Coordinate MDF and vendor funding processes, ensuring efficient tracking, claim submission, and reimbursement processes.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting of Proof of Execution (PoE) for co-marketing activities, ensuring accuracy for reimbursement claims.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Support strategic projects aimed at increasing Lenovo's market share and reinforcing partner loyalty through effective channel engagement.

Qualifications :

  • B2B Channel Marketing Experience: Proven experience in B2B channel marketing within the technology industry, with a strong background in managing operational and budgetary processes.
  • Budget Management Skills: Demonstrated expertise in managing marketing budgets, including co-marketing and MDF execution, and coordinating vendor funding.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to manage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams and engage effectively with channel partners.
  • Project Management Proficiency: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a track record of handling multiple campaigns across the EMEA region.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities for tracking performance metrics, ROI, and market trends, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems, partner portals, and budget tracking tools.
  • Innovative Mindset: A proactive, innovative approach with a results-driven mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in managing financial records, documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy.
