Description and Requirements
Come and join our ISG Category team that supports strategy & operations for the ISG business. As the ISG Strategy and Ops Sr Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the ISG business within its new category operating model and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to business processes and operations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and cross-BG teams to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and manage the process of identifying, prioritizing, chartering, communicating, and managing key projects, including defining what success looks like
- Drive standardization & consistency across ISG through the category transformation
- Work on special projects & help to define new operational strategies
- Prepare & disseminate Project documentation & communication
- Build and develop relationships across all levels of the company including cross functionally (Sales, GSC, Product & customer) to collect timely and accurate information & improve efficiencies and BMSs
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Strategy or business operation
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functions, along with a willingness to challenge when necessary.
- Ability to thrive in a fast pace and high energy culture and consistently maintain the highest level of integrity and an unwavering sense of what is best for the business.
- Keen emotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organization.
- Strong understanding of varying Lenovo Business Groups (ISG, IDG, SSG) with an ability to navigate Lenovo while building great work relationships through collaboration, spanning product, sales, marketing, finance etc.
- Excellent communications skills
- Keen business acumen - understand our strategy and govern the strategic planning.
- Superior organizational skills and project/time management abilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
- Ability to formulate solutions to problems and strong process orientation and mindset.
