Job Description:
The Cybersecurity Pre-Sale Support professional is responsible for providing technical expertise and pre-sales support to prospective customers interested in the organization's cybersecurity solutions and services. This role acts as a technical liaison between the sales team and the customer, ensuring a seamless and informed buying experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth technical assessments of the customer's IT infrastructure and security posture to understand their specific needs and challenges.
- Develop customized cybersecurity solution proposals that address the customer's requirements, including detailed technical specifications, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
- Demonstrate the organization's cybersecurity products and services to customers, highlighting their features, capabilities, and benefits.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team, assisting them in effectively communicating the technical aspects of the offerings to the customer.
- Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and product roadmaps.
- Participate in pre-sales meetings, client presentations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase the organization's cybersecurity solutions.
- Assist in the development of marketing and sales collateral, such as whitepapers, case studies, and solution briefs.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive technical support throughout the pre-sales process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in a cybersecurity or IT security-related role, with a strong understanding of various security technologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with implementing and configuring cybersecurity solutions, such as Attack Simulation, Threat Exposure Management, EDR, SIEM and identity and access management.
- Excellent technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address customer security challenges.
- Certification in relevant cybersecurity domains, such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC, is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance frameworks, such as NIST, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001, is an advantage.
