Leidos DSI is seeking an exceptional Systems Engineer to fill a critical operational role supporting our flagship product in the U.S. House of Representatives. We serve high profile customers including all branches of federal, state, and local government, as well as commercial clients. Leidos DSI delivers industry-leading digital communications and workflow software along with excellent customer support.

The Challenge:

  • Act as the primary technical steward for daily operations of our flagship product, Intranet Quorum, in the Congressional market.
  • Ensure required configuration baselines, vulnerability remediation, backup/recovery capabilities, and application availability meet the technical requirements and performance expectation of our Congressional customer base.
  • Lead planning and implementation for the ongoing evolution of the IQ application and related integration for House customers.
  • Work with a team of experienced engineers, administrators and customer facing consultants

What Sets You Apart (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree with twelve plus (12+) years of relevant experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • U.S Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Security Clearance
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, commitment to accountability, and tenacity in framing, diagnosing, documenting and remediating system issues
  • Broad range of technical expertise including a healthy mix of the following:
    • Windows, Active Directory, GPO, scripting and automation
    • Familiarity with SMTP Mail servers, protocols, and standards
    • Linux/Ubuntu
    • Kubernetes/Tanzu,
    • M365/Exchange and email reputation management
    • Oracle databases, RMAN backups, Toad, SQL Developer Data Guard
    • Nagios or similar monitoring tools for system health
    • DNS expertise
    • CI/CD Pipelines
  • Methodical approach to system monitoring, maintenance and management tasks
  • Hands-on experience with Business Continuity/Disaster recovery of large scale, complex systems
  • Understanding of public sector security compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53/FISMA/FedRAMP)
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills that allow you to foster confidence and trust as you interact with customers, team members, corporate teams and vendors.
  • Willingness/flexibility to perform weekend and after-hours system maintenance work
  • Bachelor's degree with four plus (4+) years of relevant experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

  • AWS and/or Azure/M365 experience
  • Enterprise/Cloud Anti-virus solutions
  • SIEM solutions for Cloud environments

Pay Range:

Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
