Description
National Security Sector at Leidos is responsible for subcontracts spend for all services under all Leidos National Security Sector programs and coordinating with our Global Supply Chain Partnership job functions to ensure program success. We are looking for a highly motivated student to work as an intern during the summer of 2025, where the interns will learn about Leidos' subcontract and procurement operations. Interns will receive introductions throughout the Intel Procurement organization and be exposed to training and real-life examples of subcontract work at Leidos. Throughout the summer, the intern will have the opportunity to tackle projects that will pull together cross-functional data for the team as well as working contract closeout actions on some of our priority programs. Primary Responsibilities
- Learn the basics of purchasing in a Federal Government approved Purchasing System
- Attend meetings with stakeholders, to identify subcontract data sources
- Develop an implementation plan for a project with a presentation to Management
- Make follow-on recommendations for long term use and updates for the project
Basic Qualifications
- Working towards college degree relating to supply chain, sourcing, logistics or business (or a related field)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a telecommuting capacity and experience working remotely
Preferred Qualifications
- Data analysis or business analytics capabilities preferred
- Experience or familiarity with PowerBi is a plus

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
