Leidos CIO services currently has an opening for a Software Developer to join our Hosting Services Business Enablement team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing tools and workflows to support Cloud and On-prem onboarding services. The ideal candidate will have experience developing web applications with API call functionalities and SecDevOPs technical experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IAC) both in the Cloud and On-Prem Data Center.
This is a remote position that may require travel to Orlando, Dallas, Virginia/DC area, or other locations for business purposes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work across the full stack (Python, API, Lambda, JavaScript, HTML, DBMS, DynamoDB, Ansible, Git, Docker) building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable hosting onboarding experience and processes
- Responsible for application build and release, code compilation, packaging, security scanning and configuration
- Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of a rapidly emerging business and project requirements
- Leverage SecDevOps best practices to ensure security are embedded in code implementation
- Leverage SAFE Agile practices to develop technical solutions
- Autoscaling, Cloud Watch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS, RDS, S3, API Gateways, Auto Scaling, ALB, NLB, Lambda, security groups using Terraform
- Ensure application are optimized for performance, uptime, and scale
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
- Validate requirements and designs for custom built projects
- Work across teams to define, drive, and facilitate the creation and adoption of platform architecture and standards

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 2+ years of experience developing Web and Serverless application. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years' experience working with two of the public cloud providers: Azure, AWS, Google and On-Prem.
- Experience building form with JavaScript validation and building application invoking API calls
- Experience in AWS creating features like EC2, IAM, VPC, EBS, AMI, Route 53
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, develop relationships, and obtain consensus among interested parties.
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS/Azure DevOps certifications
- Experience with SAFe or other Agile Methodologies for planning/documenting work.
- Worked in an ITIL environment.
- Experience with Splunk, PowerBI or other observability tools.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
