Leidos Defense Systems is actively hiring for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Huntsville, AL to support production and logistics related to a variety of Air Defense and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS).

The selected individual will perform Project Management activities and duties as a member of development and production program teams. This includes planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives. Ensuring that all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints. Also interfacing with task and functional leaders, subcontractors and support personnel.

Primary Responsibilities

  • As part of a multi-functional, matrixed team, this Senior Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating the development of logistics support plans, product support analyses, product support data, and logistics product data summaries per GEIA-0007C and AS9100 standards.
  • Full understanding of FAR and DFARS
  • Will facilitate and manage the Leidos production standup at the FISTA in Lawton, OK.
  • Will facilitate the development and submission of military standard-compliant technical manuals and detailed training plans and programs in support of limited fielding and test events.
  • Will prepare for, coordinate, and take part in system test planning and execution, verification, and validation events as required.
  • Will assist in the development of in-process review briefings, review; comment on, and develop logistics related documents, plans and report; draft technical papers; focus and guide project teams; monitor cost and schedule of projects; participate in project evaluations; respond to customer inquiries; and verify product technical quality.
  • Will provide direct support to the Leidos Program Manager on all technical logistics efforts, integration with the systems engineering process and team, provide advisory and assistance support for cost, schedule, technical quality, and personnel, and attend all scheduled meetings as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 or more years of prior relevant experience; or a Master's Degree and 10 or more years of prior relevant experience.
  • Direct experience with military acquisition programs and programs of record
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working within matrixed teams
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must be a US citizen and have a Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a resident of Huntsville, Al or be able to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the development of mil-spec technical documentation to include interactive electronic technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with provisioning and the US Military logistics product database tools, techniques, procedures, and products.
  • Familiarity with the Systems Approach to Training method for training development and implementation.
  • Direct experience developing and implementing IUID for military acquisition programs.
  • Direct experience supporting US military defense program offices.
  • Direct experience in production and logistics

Pay Range:

Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
