The Digital Modernization Sector of Leidos has an opening for a Project Schedule Analyst to support the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract. SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under this contract, the Leidos team delivers the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport.
The Project Schedule Analyst is responsible for understanding customer requests and developing accurate and executable project schedules to meet customer expectations. In this position, you work with a highly matrix organization comprising of various departments both internal and external to Leidos to regularly status schedules and analyze for efficiencies throughout the lifecycle of a project.

Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to analyze project scope, requirements, and available resources to create and maintain accurate and achievable project schedules using Microsoft Project software.
- Establish business rhythms to monitor project progress and identify potential scheduling risks and constraints. Assist in the resolution of scheduling conflicts and constraints, working collaboratively to find feasible solutions.
- Use critical path analysis to identify time critical project activities and potential bottlenecks and support schedule optimization.
- Coordinate with teams to align their activities with project timelines and dependencies.
- Produce regular progress reports and present schedule updates to project teams and stakeholders and facilitate communication around timelines.
- Implement and maintain standardized scheduling processes and best practices to improve overall project communication and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a Bachelors degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Currently possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Project, SSI Analysis Tools and/or other schedule management tools.
- Expert knowledge of scheduling theory, schedule execution metrics, baseline change control and related best-practices (e.g., Critical path, Margin/Float management, DCMA 14-Pt).
- Good interpersonal skills and judgement for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders to develop strong working relations to support achieving objectives.
- Ability to engage and work within a highly matrixed, cross-functional team comprising both customer, supplier and internal staff with an awareness of engineering principles.
- Excellent written communication using e-mail, presentations and reports.
- The ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively.
- Successful juggling multiple activities, projects, and priorities.
- Enthusiastic self-starter and team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles.
- Experience with Project Web Application (PWA) administration and reporting.
- Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)/Monte Carlo Analysis and resource loading/management.
- Understanding of cost, schedule, risk and opportunity integration,
- Experience with agile development.
- Working knowledge of Leidos' proposal processes and standards.
- Exposure to data visualization with Power BI, Microsoft Power Apps and/or Power Automate technologies and/or Nintex forms/workflows.
- PMP Certification

Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
