Leidos is seeking a passionate, detailed-oriented problem-solver to serve as Project Analyst to support the Advanced Materials Product Group, primarily focused on the Thermal Protection System Production Program. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The successful candidate will serve as an integral member of the Advanced Materials and TPS Production Business Operations Teams. This Project Analyst role will have direct contact with internal customers, Program management, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Contracts as well as the Customer. This position will work closely with Division/Program Management and Program Finance personnel to balance multiple activities including, but not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities
- Track and communicate funding provided by multiple government sources; manage man-hours and work authorizations, material, ODCs, and travel expenses to ensure that funding is managed accurately and appropriately
- Use contract award and/or contract modification data to create project budgets
- Coordinate, prepare, and submit contract deliverables in a timely manner
- Work with PM's and organizational managers to plan and track labor, assign and remove charge numbers, rebalance hours, disseminate work authorizations, communicate labor plans and status, etc.
-Work with PM's to prepare data reports for the customer
- Provide input to Estimates at Completion (EAC's) across various projects (Cost-Type, T&M, Fixed Price, etc.)
- Participate in the preparation and review of cost proposals and contract modifications
- Support materials and subcontract procurement activities
- Ensure accuracy of invoices prior to submission
- Prepare monthly subcontract analysis and process subcontractor invoices for payment
- Work daily with the Program Managers ensuring all working tasks have appropriate funding allocations to reach program goals and deliverables for Dynetics and subcontractors labor and non-labor expenses
- Provide training on above tasking for junior project leads
- Performs other related job duties as required
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Math, Science, or Engineering from an ABET accredited institution and 8+ years related experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Demonstrated Project Management skills as a program manager, deputy program manager, team lead, or assistant to one of the aforementioned positions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; special consideration given to exceptionally strong Excel skills
-Skilled in data analytics and data manipulation
-Highly organized with a focus on details
-- The candidate must possess an active DOD SECRET Clearance or be eligible to obtain a SECRET Clearance (or equivalent)

The following experience is desired and candidates with such will be given extra consideration:
- Experience working in manufacturing or production environment
- Experience with Costpoint/Cognos/Deltek
- Demonstrated leadership of a cross-functional team

Pay Range:
Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
