Description

The Security Engineering Program (SEP) under the National Security Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Programmatic Support Planner in the Professional Services Support (PSS) Program. As a Program Support Planner, you will act as a liaison responsible for analyzing actual and predictable operational activities of, or information related to, a military, governmental, or program to help customers make better-informed decisions. Your duties may include qualitative and quantitative analyses, including providing remote and site service, repair, and installation support of existing hardware, software, configurations, and new system initiatives for all locations within the area of responsibility. Requires expert knowledge and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. The candidate will be responsible for entire projects or processes within their professional area and typically be accountable for coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Relocation is not offered as part of the solicitation. This position is in Kauai, HI.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical or technical deviations from performance specifications using established procedures and prepare reports to analyze failure trends and serviceability issues. Duties will include managing, handling, and disposition/administration of Communications Security (COMSEC) material. Their responsibilities may consist of on-site support services and assisting in developing and ensuring adherence to area-wide procedural/policy changes.
  • Draft and maintain policies, plans, and procedures that describe how to execute continuity capabilities to meet specified requirements.
  • Maintain continuity and emergency management program material and essential records to ensure appropriate readiness levels.
  • Support emergency management/incident response functions to accomplish the program mission.
  • Support asset management staff (Accountable Officer, Responsible Officer, and User) in maintaining an accurate inventory and accountable equipment distribution.
  • Assist with developing policies, procedures, and multi-year strategic plans and schedules.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must possess a minimum of a TS Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain program SCI and Polygraph.
  • A bachelor's degree in Emergency and Disaster Planning or related discipline, (8-12) years of experience in Emergency and Disaster Planning, Continuity of Operations, and Mission Assurance areas, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with telecommunications, electrical, and related communication technologies, including system operations, installation, repair, and analysis
  • Experience in Communications Security (COMSEC) account management
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must have normal color vision.
  • Be willing to drive CMV (>10K lbs./non-CDL Vehicles) and participate in driver protective/evasive training.
  • Able to constantly stand to perform maintenance tasks for extended periods; frequently walk to access work sites while maintaining balance on uneven surfaces; make frequent coordinated hand movements to grasp, place, or move objects.
  • Able to occasionally bend, stoop, and kneel; climb to access equipment, use ladders, and use lift carts; lift and carry objects weighing up to forty-five (45) pounds a minimum of twenty (20) feet; push and pull objects weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • COMSEC Management Course
  • Experience with Federal, State, and Local Emergency Operations
  • Experience with mechanical systems to include gas motorized systems

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
