Description

The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a Program Management Assistant to support the FAA System Operations Security Group. In this role, you will provide support to the FAA Systems Operations Security Group in addressing a broad range of management related functions, which enable the operations of the directorate. This position requires an experienced person with demonstrated office and financial management expertise, superior professional demeanor, and the ability to learn and accomplish a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities that ensure program success.

Primary Responsibilities

Key attributes include initiative as well as critical thinking to identify and prioritize actions to assist the FAA in achieving program goals. You will support the FAA by ensuring that organizational business plan priorities and objectives are met. Manage organizational and leadership calendars around operational priorities. Assist in the tracking and identification of critical records and files. You will be responsible for some non-technical efforts and tracking systems. Provide technical support in developing briefings and data sheets that provide organizational updates and schedules. Develop portfolio reviews and other management support tools. Other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a BA degree and 8 to 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 to 10 of prior relevant experience or if no degree, additional related work experience can be substituted.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in producing correspondence and preparing briefings for managers.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Experience managing executive calendars
  • Experience in coordinating off-site meetings, including budget

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of FAA culture and organizational structure preferred.
  • Experience in the coordination of site visits and inspections
  • Knowledge of FAA operational planning requirements.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
