The Leidos National Security Sector has a career opportunity for a Logistician in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Job Summary

Manages the Supply Chain process at every point in the chain. Provides for storage and delivery of materials. Arranges transportation and shipment of materials to different throughout the world in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supports property manager duties
  • Supports inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred
  • Assists system developers and integrators during shipments of systems and system upgrades
  • Maintains the Defense Property Accountability System by providing entries for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property and excessed property
  • Completes monthly inventory reports per government guidelines
  • Coordinates all aspects of shipments resulting from systems integration and system upgrade activities
  • Develops inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred.
  • Establishes program level Defense Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property and excessed property]
  • Coordinates and performs all property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices
  • Provides monthly inventory reports in accordance with government guidelines
  • Develops material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property

Security Clearance requirement:

  • Must possess active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of experience working as a Logistician.
  • Experience shall include property accounting processes to include the associated forms. Shall possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems.
  • Professional experience shall include ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property.

Shall have practical experience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
