Leidos Digital Modernization team is looking for Junior Process Improvement Engineer (PIE) at our customer site at The Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. As the Junior SharePoint Administrator, you will support a broad range of responsibilities including documentation of current processes and procedures, documenting standard operating procedures (SOP) changes, maintain a list of all the SOPs. The PIE will facilitate meetings and collaborate with others to gain insight into potential improvement opportunities.

In this role, the Junior PIE will be the liaison with the process automation support team to develop all planning, documentation, and coordination of concept, strategy, and roadmap deliverables to achieve future capabilities. The Junior PIE in collaboration with the PIE lead and team will consolidate operational and mission requirements, identify capability shortfalls and interoperability issues, assess performance efficiencies, and implement process improvements.

This position is hybrid, however you must be within commuting distance of the The Mark Center in Alexandria, VA to go in office one or two days per week. This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance to start.

What will you do in this role?

  • Maintain adherence to the program's process improvement initiatives.
  • Support Lean Six Sigma structured improvement activities (SIAs).
  • Support organization meetings, take notes, maintain metrics, and assignments.
  • Coordinate events and act as the correspondent for the organization.
  • Facilitate and participate in continual improvements to procedures.
  • Help with developing workflows, operating procedures, and work instructions for enterprise-wide daily execution, automation, and reporting.
  • Generate operation metrics and reports and distribute them to the team.
  • Monitor and track quality action items and quality issues through resolution.
  • Maintain an inventory of all the SOPs, their statuses, and POC information by department.
  • Collaborate with others to create process improvement content.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with at least 4 years of prior relevant experience, additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • US Citizenship with an active Secret government security clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with federal organizations and interacting with senior civilian and military personnel.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
