Leidos is seeking an Innovative Channels Manager for our Ameren Illinois Residential Energy Efficiency Program. In this role, you will work to continuously drive, direct, and document all aspects of the Initiatives under your charge, striving to inject innovation into the energy efficiency portfolio.

The Innovative Channels Manager will provide day-to-day operational oversight, direction, and follow-up, and strategic guidance of pilots and new programs: Healthier Homes Channel, Accessibility Offering and Program Ally Incubator program. Responsibilities include collaborating with implementation partners and client staff, project management and implementation partner oversight and support, producing and delivering status reports, engagement with external entities regarding innovative and trending measures and channels, budget/savings management, and full support of client requests. The Innovative Channels Manager will report to the Residential Deputy Program Manager and also work/communicate very closely with other Initiative Managers and the Residential Program Manager.

Location: The ideal Candidate will be located within the state of Illinois. This position requires a candidate to travel up to 25% of the time for the role. This travel will be throughout the Ameren Service Territory and occasional travel to our office located in Peoria IL. The Candidate will work remotely up to 75% of the time. However, candidate must be residing in Illinois.

The Challenge:

  • Drive efforts in all facets of the Initiatives under your care that may include: Healthier Homes Channel, Accessibility Offering and Program Ally Incubator program by providing necessary guidance, critical communication and oversight to implementation partner personnel
  • Assist with development of implementer partners and staff, creating an environment for implementation partners to grow their knowledge and energy efficiency program delivery capacity
  • Contribute to process enhancements and devise strategies to propel initiatives, fostering their growth and development.
  • Work closely with the Innovation Team, Residential Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager on internal operations, client support, and stakeholder management
  • Manage client relationship with Ameren Illinois Residential Energy Efficiency Advisor
  • Provide insights to ensure that programs run efficiently and effectively to meet goals and constantly respond to changing market conditions
  • Provide leadership and clear guidance/frequent follow-up to Leidos residential and implementation partner personnel
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to program plans and schedules, identify program challenges and develop solutions
  • Advanced data analysis to support reporting, program improvement and new strategy development
  • Participate in the evaluation of program effectiveness (measurement and verification)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with two plus (2+) years of prior relevant experience, with expertise in project management, building science, energy efficiency, innovative solutioning, and/or serving income qualified customer segments
  • May consider additional years of prior relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build/maintain relationships
  • Ability to work well either as a team or as an individual in an ambiguous environment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications including, but not limited to: BPI, PMP, CEM, LEED
  • Professional affiliations including, but not limited to: AESP, MEEA, ACEEE, ASHRAE, or AE

Pay Range:

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
