Financial Project Management Director

Description

Leidos has an opening for a Financial Project Management Director, who will act as the functional lead supporting the program management and EACs re-engineering initiative (Program Financial Management Tool Suite Modernization Project) . In this role, you will support the Tower 6 PFA of the Future, Workstream 2 Team from a functional program management perspective and be a critical part of this transformational initiative. You will serve as a key point of contact for design decisions and handle the overall day to day for the project.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the program manager for the program management and EACs re-engineering initiative, day to day accountability for the project
  • Coordinate socialization and approvals from the business leaders and stakeholders of the projects
  • Identify key issues requiring resolution by project sponsors and ensuring integration across the functional teams
  • Help review and provide quality assurance on work products and help implement the areas identified for improvement in the short term and coordinate the roadmap for futureimprovements
  • Be the interface and ensure team integration for Leidos between group, functional POC's and outside consultants
  • Present project progress to executive leadership and act as the central point of contact for design decisions
  • Guide development and deliverables to meet critical deadlines
  • Review and provide quality assurance on work products
  • Secure project SME's to provide required project insights
  • Lead the new program management and EAC technology implementation after completion of the process reengineering study
  • Partner with group, functional POC's and outside consultants to collaborate on the future state of program management and EACs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience in program management, including 7 years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of the Leidos financial forecasting processes and tools
  • Strong Analytical Abilities
  • Open-minded and inclusive Leadership
  • Excellent Communication Skills & Detailed Oriented
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience communicating and working with executives
  • Change-agent, experience with large transformative projects

Pay Range:

Pay Range $134,550.00 - $243,225.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
