More About the Role:
The Defense Group of Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Specialist to support efforts for the OCONUS Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) portion of the NGEN-R Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract located in Manama, Bahrain.
NGEN-R SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy; inclusive of cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
Field Service Support Specialist will perform Tier I/II duties at NSA Bahrain and supported locations to include remote locations located throughout Bahrain.

What You'll Get to Do:
• Coordinate all maintenance and restoration activities with the TNOSC and LNSC leadership.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures through manual configuration, installation of patches, or the application of scripts to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Participate in technical exchanges as required.
• Provide technical and operational input to Regional Change Review activities.
• Provide continuous support on duty or on-call to respond to Government trouble tickets.
• Perform on-site maintenance, installations/ de-installations, or relocations of workstation equipment and software.
• Configure workstations for proper user access to systems.
• Provide transport of unclassified or classified HW to and from remote customer locations.
• Provide remote operations and maintenance support for current and future remote locations.
• Deploy and support ONE-Net classified and unclassified data seats, and associated network equipment.
• Assist with One-Net migrations, system refresh, and deployments.
• Develop or modify site administration documentation.
• Configure and deploy printers in accordance with applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and less than 2 years of previous IT experience. An additional 4 years of previous IT experience can be used in lieu of education.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Compliant with DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+, CCNA Security, etc.).
• Possess, or ability to obtain prior to start date, at least one OS certification (Microsoft Endpoint, Microsoft Azure, or similar).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• ITIL Foundation v3 or v4.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) / Department of Navy (DoN) operating environments.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,050.00 - $90,475.00
