Description
The CIO Services Technology and Capability Delivery Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Email Operations Intern (100% remote position). In this role, you will assist our Email Operations Administrators with the daily support and administration of our hybrid Exchange on-premises and Exchange Online M365 GCC-High cloud environment, as well as supporting Teams in the cloud, with a focus on maintaining SLO/SLA operational support and coordinating with our Unified Communications Engineering Staff to support our Leidos employees worldwide.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review system logs and dashboards proactively to help identify/troubleshoot issues
- Familiarize yourself with Splunk and assist team with improving/optimizing team dashboards
- Assist with Email and Teams related trouble ticket resolution
- Assist Email Operations Administrators with operational patching procedures
- Identify and recommend areas of improvement with regard to Email Operations support and best practices
- Review Email Operations documentation and assist with updates, as needed
- Assist with development of Powershell scripts that improve efficiency through automation
- Assist team members with various projects and tasks on an as-needed basis

Basic Qualifications
- A technical certification related to M365 or taken and passed college level courses related to Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Demonstrate strong soft skills in the areas of organization, communications and teamwork and have an interest in supporting IT Service Delivery in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with US Government IT security principles such as NIST, CUI, CDI, ITAR, FedRamp, GCC-High, etc., Exchange Online/Teams support experience and in-depth understanding of Outlook / Microsoft Teams clients functionality and usage.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
