The Chief Growth Office of Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Chief of Staff to support the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) with carrying out function-wide strategic operational initiatives.

Specifically, this role is responsible for leading projects and collaborating with business and functional leaders across the corporation. The selected candidate will apply sound judgment to the most complex planning, design, technical, and management functions. Effectiveness will be determined by this individual's ability to quickly form partnerships across the Growth Office and the Sectors to facilitate efficient and effective business operations. The Chief of Staff serves as the primary point of contact for cross organizational projects.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supports the Chief Growth Officer's design and implementation for overall strategy of the business and day-to-day operations
  • Track Growth Office KPIs and financials in support of the CGO
  • Execute and provide guidance on all Growth Office rhythms (e.g. MOR, QBR, 5-15, etc) and data calls
  • Lead Growth Office Offsite meetings and support Corporate ALLS events
  • Presentation development: Work closely with the CGO and when applicable, Growth SVPs, to develop CGO and Growth Office presentations to a variety of stakeholders (e.g. the Board of Directors, Corporate ELT, internal teams and external partners)
  • Collaborates with Internal Comms manager on all CGO communications
  • Partners with Growth Office CFO to manage CHO and NBF accounts and oversee Closest to the Pin and AOP activities
  • Provides decision support through data gathering, information analysis, and presentation of relevant considerations to key stakeholders
  • Oversees strategic initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of the Chief Growth Officer and Sector leadership
  • Proactively aids the Chief Growth Officer in identifying and assessing scenarios requiring insight for problem resolution
  • Responsible for prioritization and material preparation for internal and external events, key customer meetings, speaking engagements, company site visits and conferences to maximize the Growth Office's productivity
  • Develops project plans and deliverables that meet identified requirements by application of, or in accordance with, accepted Project Management principles
  • Ensures assigned individuals are executing all phases of identified and assigned tasks from the Chief Growth Officer and provides appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
  • Develops relationships with executive-level and senior management and keep them informed of corporate planning calendar and other items related to the Chief Growth Officer priorities
  • Executes and supports other operational projects as assigned by the Chief Growth Officer
  • As needed, act as representative for the Chief Growth Officer, approvals as directed

Typical Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university required, combined with 15+ years of relevant experience and leadership responsibilities, including demonstrated proficiency in project management
  • Proven capability to apply strong diplomatic, leadership and problem-solving skills to enable and enhance the daily operations of the Growth Office
  • Strong capability to interact with senior management and drive issue resolution to closure
  • Excellent verbal (including presentation) and written communication skills, including ability to establish positive and productive working relationships inside and outside the company.
  • Proven problem solver who can make clear-headed decisions while under time pressure.
  • Robust experience in Microsoft suite, such as Excel (incl formulas and pivot tables), PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong financial acumen: understanding of Gross Awards, Backlog, Factoring, and Book-to-Bill.
  • Working knowledge of WinIt tool and functionality is a plus
  • Prior experience in Business Development and understanding of Leidos Win Plan is a plus
  • 10% travel is expected

Pay Range:

Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
