The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic advisor and executive partner to the President. In this role, you will be responsible for driving Koalafi’s strategic and operational goals, ensure effective execution of Koalafi’s strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. As a trusted thought partner and confidant to the President, you will facilitate communication and decision making across the leadership team and will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth and success.

Strategic Planning and Execution: 

  • Collaborate with the President and senior leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans, initiatives, and objectives, translating the company’s vision and mission into actionable goals. 
  • Lead the quarterly and annual company-wide planning processes from development to execution, ensuring all departments are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. 
  • Facilitate and manage selected cross-functional deep-dives and special projects on business gaps / cases issued by President, whether focused on revenue growth, cost optimization, organizational effectiveness, M&A etc. 
  • Identify potential obstacles to strategic goals, providing data-driven recommendations and solutions. 

Leadership Support and Communication: 

  • Serve as a liaison between the President and the senior leadership team, ensuring clear and effective communication and follow through on key initiatives. 
  • Prepare and coordinate materials for executive meetings, board presentations, and other critical communications. 
  • Represent the President in meetings, discussions, and negotiations as needed, ensuring alignment with the President’s vision and priorities. 

Executive Decision Support: 

  • Provide the President with data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making. 
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports on key business issues, market trends, and competitive dynamics. 
  • Assist in the evaluation of potential business opportunities, partnerships, and investments. 

Meeting Management: 

  • Own senior leadership and board meetings minutes, ensuring meeting effectiveness, preparedness, and follow-through on action items. 
  • Improve decision-making processes by enhancing the effectiveness of meetings and communications. 

 

About You:  

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. 
  • 6+ years of experience of increasing responsibility in strategic, operational, or leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company or management consulting. 
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects and initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Experience working closely with C-level executives or in a similar Chief of Staff role is highly desirable.

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. 
  • Excellent project management skills, with a love for details and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. 
  • Highly effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and partnerships across the organization. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and business analytics. 
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
