What does Leidos need from me?

The candidate is required to be a technical leader, able to coordinate and direct engineering teams in successful delivery and acceptance of the system. They are able to execute and perform without assistance, and possess significant practical experience and applied knowledge across the following areas:

• Complex systems integration projects, involving IT systems;
• Technical Management of subcontractors
• Systems Engineering and understanding of the principles behind each of the main processes
• Technical Team Management including the planning of work packages, allocation to team members and reporting
• Technical Team Leadership including providing technical direction to team members

In addition to the areas above, you are required to have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and work well in a team environment;
• Ability to clearly articulate and communicate design and technical concepts in written and verbal forms;
• Intellectual calibre and confidence to conduct complex discussions with civilian and service customers and suppliers;
• Commercial awareness sufficient to support discussions with customers and suppliers

It would be beneficial if you had experience in the following:

• Public sector and sensitive projects
• Background in Software Engineering or IT Systems Integration
• Knowledge of Home Office or MOD organisation, processes and procedures;

Clearance Requirements: The successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain UK Security Clearance
