Leidos is searching for a qualified candidate to join our DISA JSP ETM team as the Cable Technician Lead. The successful candidate will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use network cabling test equipment including network testers, copper cable testers, fiber Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDRs) and fiber power meters.
- Analyze, administer, and maintain telecommunications and network cabling infrastructure.
- Dress, terminate and test cables and components
- Ability to work with power tools and ladders
- Test, locate, install, and repair cabling infrastructure associated with trouble calls, and perform routine maintenance
- Install, maintain, and repair voice and data communications systems
- Identify, track, and remove abandoned cable, and keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standards
- Communicate effectively across team of varying experience levels and with customer leadership

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated experience in telecommunications
- Cable Technician experience within the DoD
- Certification in Fiber Optic Cable and CAT6 Cable Installation
- Active Secret Clearance
- Familiarity with BICSI rules, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, with keen attention to detail

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
