We are seeking an innovations and technology leader in the behavioral health space who can drive digital transformation, lead change management efforts, and accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies in behavioral health.
The Behavioral Health Innovations and Technology Lead role is ideal for someone with a passion for advancing behavioral health through technology, a deep understanding of change management principles, and the ability to bridge the gap between behavioral health and technological innovation. You will play a critical role in ensuring that new technologies, AI-driven solutions, and data analytics are seamlessly integrated into behavioral health programs while fostering stakeholder engagement and adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Behavioral Health Technology Integration & Innovation
- Oversee the adoption and implementation of new technologies in behavioral health programs, ensuring alignment with best practices and user needs.
- Work with cross-functional teams (IT, clinical experts, business development) to identify and deploy AI-driven solutions, telehealth platforms, and data analytics tools for behavioral health.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure Leidos remains at the forefront of digital transformation in behavioral health.
Drive Change Management & User Adoption
- Develop and execute change management strategies to support the seamless adoption of behavioral health technologies across stakeholders.
- Conduct training programs, stakeholder engagement sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure behavioral health providers, government agencies, and partner organizations can effectively utilize new tools.
- Address resistance to change by implementing targeted adoption strategies and leveraging behavioral science principles.
Support Business Growth in Behavioral Health Technology
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to behavioral health technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
- Assist in the development of proposals, white papers, and business strategies that highlight Leidos' leadership in behavioral health technology.
- Represent Leidos at conferences, advisory panels, and government briefings on the future of technology in behavioral health.
Develop and Expand Behavioral Health Data-Driven Solutions
- Work with data scientists and technology teams to build predictive analytics models, machine learning tools, and AI-powered interventions for behavioral health programs.
- Ensure that technology solutions are evidence-based, secure, and aligned with clinical and ethical standards.
- Develop frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of digital health initiatives in behavioral health.
Foster Collaboration Across Stakeholders
- Engage with government agencies, healthcare providers, policymakers, and industry leaders to drive behavioral health technology initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with universities, research institutions, and technology firms to accelerate innovation.
- Ensure that technology solutions support long-term sustainability, scalability, and interoperability in behavioral health programs.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree with 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experienced professional in contract performance with demonstrated technical lead and customer relationship building in the performance and growth of contracts. Capable of generating on-contract-growth through insertion of innovation and technology on existing programs.
- Experienced solution architect, sales engineer, and/or technical volume lead on captures and proposals.
- Proven ability to reach out to Industry, Academia, and government customers synchronizing efforts across multiple lines of research, development and funding to enhance our solutions offerings and close gaps in offerings yielding competitive technical solutions.
- Experience in health system definition, design, integration and delivery.
- Knowledgeable in program management methodology and techniques; performance evaluation and change management principles.
- Demonstrated ability in the areas of personnel planning, project reviews, scheduling, and budget control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas.
- Experience with regulatory and healthcare data handling and analysis in the Federal Civilian Health domain (e.g. FDA, NIH, CMS, SSA, HRSA, etc.).
- Experience in design and implementation of big data stores.
- Experience with writing content for white papers, RFI responses, proposals and customer briefings.
- Experience developing and reviewing BOM and BOEs for complex solutions.
- Experience with reviewing proposal contents including draft reviews, red team reviews, risk reviews, etc.
- Implementation experience with one or more of the following: AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps in a cloud environment.
- Requires US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Operational experience in the Federal Civilian Health domain.
- Previous experience managing complex solution development efforts / contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to work across internal functions and with outside entities to facilitate successful product completion/delivery.
- Experience implementing solutions using Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega, Appian and Microsoft Power platform.
- Experience with Data Analytics and modern data platforms.
- Experience using modern digital engineering practices to include MBSE knowledge on development or integration programs.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
