Description
Leidos is seeking an Operational Energy Analyst to support our customer at the Operational Energy office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force in a remote/hybrid position.
In this role, you will implement and facilitate the Mission Execution Excellence Program (MEEP), a fuel efficiency incentivization program, at Air Force installations in the southwest region of the United States. Expect to travel to regionally assigned units about 10-20% of the time.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all MEEP related activities at regionally assigned units and act as a Liaison to the AF Operational Energy Office (SAF/IEN).
- Coordinate with the MEEP Program Manager to ensure successful implementation.
- Advocate for program adoption and instruct Airmen on program principles.
- Coordinate focus groups, strategic engagement, and education/training integration at the wing.
- Partner with the Wing Innovation Cell to identify energy saving solutions and collaborate on opportunities to fund improved operational resources for Airmen.
- Facilitate data collection leveraging emerging IT solutions and support unit onboarding/education
- Incorporate feedback and lessons learned into the next iteration of the program.

Required Education, Experience & Other:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years' relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years relevant experience
- Active DOD Secret clearance
- Experience with Air Force Operations, either as an aviator or in an operational support role
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with Senior DoD Leaders
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience/familiarity with DoD acquisitions

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
