Description

Leidos is seeking an Operational Energy Analyst to support our customer at the Operational Energy office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force in a remote/hybrid position.

In this role, you will implement and facilitate the Mission Execution Excellence Program (MEEP), a fuel efficiency incentivization program, at Air Force installations in the southwest region of the United States. Expect to travel to regionally assigned units about 10-20% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all MEEP related activities at regionally assigned units and act as a Liaison to the AF Operational Energy Office (SAF/IEN).
  • Coordinate with the MEEP Program Manager to ensure successful implementation.
  • Advocate for program adoption and instruct Airmen on program principles.
  • Coordinate focus groups, strategic engagement, and education/training integration at the wing.
  • Partner with the Wing Innovation Cell to identify energy saving solutions and collaborate on opportunities to fund improved operational resources for Airmen.
  • Facilitate data collection leveraging emerging IT solutions and support unit onboarding/education
  • Incorporate feedback and lessons learned into the next iteration of the program.

Required Education, Experience & Other:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years' relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years relevant experience
  • Active DOD Secret clearance
  • Experience with Air Force Operations, either as an aviator or in an operational support role
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with Senior DoD Leaders
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience/familiarity with DoD acquisitions

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
