Leidos seeks an Administrative Assistant to support Human Resources: Vice President of Culture & Employee Engagement (C&EE) at Leidos Global Headquarters in Reston, Virginia. This role will require a detail oriented, organized, self-starter who enjoys working a dynamic team and multiple internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to, PROVIDE STRATEGIC ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE to VP C&EE. Perform advanced administrative assignments requiring a high level of competency in office procedures and detailed knowledge of Leidos' organization, procedures, and operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Duties may include calendar and inbox management with an understanding of which activities are most appropriate for the allocation of the senior leader's time.
  • Engage with Leidos senior leaders and external senior executives (customer and contractor partners), which requires a significant amount of explanation, clarification, and diplomacy.
  • Compose emails, letters, and other correspondence; handle the highest level of confidential information.
  • Work independently, exercise considerable discretion and be forward thinking in managing executive activities such as speaking engagements, meetings, client relationships, research, and all executive duties as required.
  • Prioritize and carry out special projects and complex assignments as needed, exercising frequent independent judgment, initiative, and tact.
  • Coordinate special events as needed. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies information from multiple sources.
  • BUDGET/PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT: Serve as primary support for vendor procurement activities for ~$3.3M C&EE budgets. Includes collecting and reviewing annual spend plans, utilizing Leidos financial systems to process C&EE-managed procurement and vendor invoice payments and accounting.
  • LOGISTICS SUPPORT FOR PROCESSES AND EVENTS: Serves as primary logistical support for Culture Shaping process, New Employee Orientation process, Talent Management process, Leidos Internal/External Awards process. Does this in partnership with C&EE Leads as well as Executive Assistants and/or Human Resources in Leidos sectors and functions to gather and execute on required logistics. Utilizes agile event planning skills as needed.
  • WEBSITE CONTENT SUPPORT: Supports task execution for C&EE intranet (Prism) pages management, partnering with C&EE Leads and Leidos communications team to help publish C&EE content on intranet (Prism).
  • DATA MANAGEMENT: Build and manage Cvent and/or other survey/feedback-gathering requests for C&EE. Other duties as required by management.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School degree and 5+ years of experience providing administration support in a corporate environment for executive level leaders.
  • Present a positive and personable demeanor with an ability to interact and relate well with both external and internal contacts at all levels, up to and including executives and customers.
  • Ability to work effectively with key administrative personnel across the enterprise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound decision-making and prioritization ability, and attention to detail are critical.
  • Excellent calendar management skills including the ability to coordinate complex executive meetings. Must have a mastery of Microsoft Outlook including Teams and other communication channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a commitment to completion of projects on a timely basis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related is preferred.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
