About Our Team:
Labcorp's Clinical Contact Center provides high-quality service to providers and patients to support the accurate and efficient processing of lab specimens and delivery of results. As part of the Global Supply Chain organization, we work cross-functionally with Corporate and Lab Operations, Sales, and IT to ensure smooth and delightful customer experiences.
Internship Assignment Summary:
The Intern would report directly to the Clinical Contact Center Corporate Operations team in the Supply Chain department with dotted lines for team members based on the project. The goal would be to expose the Intern to as many team members and Labcorp professionals as possible during their time in the department. The Intern will gain valuable experience that will help develop their decision regarding a future career path in the healthcare industry. Project may include but not limited to:
- Redesign the Clinical Contact Center SharePoint intranet site for internal stakeholders
- Assist in developing, testing, and rolling out AI products, enhancements, and system technology to increase automation and efficiencies for internal applications.
- Assist in creating process flow mapping to include links to SOPs and training documents for Inbound, Outbound, and Backoffice processes.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Science, or Healthcare
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative style
- Superior organizational, time management, and decision-making/problem-solving skills
- Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms of collaboration and partnership
- Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
