Job Summary: The Global Rewards team manages compensation, benefits, and global mobility for Labcorp employees across the enterprise. The intern will provide compensation support to Compensation managers on a variety of programs and projects with particular focus on global compensation, executive compensation, and sales compensation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform compensation modeling, analysis, and ad-hoc research
- With guidance, evaluate job roles and provide input on appropriate mapping/band/grade.
- Provide support regarding recommendations for new hire and internal offer packages, including global market pricing
- Research and assess market prevalence and trends regarding compensation design as needed
- Participate in third party market compensation surveys
- Assist with the administration of the compensation planning processes including merit, bonus, and equity
- Support Rewards Managers and Leaders on preparing presentations and proposals
- Compile recurring reports and share with stakeholders
- Support quarterly sales incentive payouts and sales plan production and distribution process as needed
- Support special projects as needed
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate or undergrade program with a major in business, HR, finance, or other relevant area
- Strong familiarity and proficiency with excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior coursework or experience in human resources or related field desired
- Ideal candidate is available for a full-time summer internship and part-time during the school year
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Critical high-level attention to data integrity and accuracy
- Advanced skills related to data gathering and manipulation for business analysis
- Demonstration to problem solve and think outside-of-the-box / self-starter
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication skills
- Capable of managing multi-task assignments simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Comfortable reading/writing internal business documents, policy statements, and process reviews
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
