Job Summary:
The Director, Field Enablement will play a pivotal role in elevating the competitiveness of our Inside Sales and Field Sales teams. This individual will act as a key liaison between the Marketing and Sales teams, providing tools, insights, and training related to the market, competition, and Marketing programs to enable the Sales team to activate the BLS Strategic and BLS Marketing plans. In this role, you will establish yourself as a key partner supporting the development and activation of sales-centric strategic product introductions, competitive strategies, account targeting, and market/customer intelligence to fortify our BLS growth plans and achieve revenue targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales team liaison:

Attend as a key partner in regional sales team discussions. Identify opportunities to support Sales via new tools, new collateral, or connecting the team to existing Marketing resources. Work cross-functionally to develop and deploy this support to the team.

Product launch toolkit development:

Serve as a partner to sales leaders in the creation and deployment of market positioning and competitive tools and training to support product/service launches. Partner with Product Marketing and the Director of Product Strategy to develop toolkits to support value propositions, targeting, pricing, and competitive positioning.

Translate market insights into effective, targeted customer growth initiatives:

Participate in the design and execution of market research studies, analyze consumer trends and monitor competitive activities to influence and inform commercial and business strategy.

Sales funnel analysis:

Partner with Sales to monitor the sales opportunity funnel and identify opportunities to support funnel size, funnel velocity, and win rate. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and deploy resources (tools, training, or Marketing campaigns) from the Marketing team to support these opportunities.

Support strategic planning:

Drive proactive engagement in strategic planning, collaborating closely with divisional sales leaders to formulate and set marketing goals and growth strategies.

Lead our marketing sales communication and engagement strategy:

Continuously optimize how we proactively promote Labcorp's vision and business priorities to our BLS commercial audience based on real-time feedback and insights.

Personal Interactions and interpersonal skills:

  • Leverage multiple relationships across Sales, Marketing, and business stakeholders. Influence effectively across all levels to achieve objectives.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercially focused roles, including inside sales, field sales or marketing.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop tools and plans aligned with business objectives, and execute initiatives to drive growth
  • 1-2 years' experience navigating the unique challenges and dynamics of the healthcare landscape
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels
  • Proficiency in analyzing market data, customer insights, and sales funnel metrics (Salesforce) to inform decision-making
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful execution within budget constraints
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt strategies to changing market conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 Years of Experience
  • Advanced Degree in Science or Business
  • Prior experience in a Direct Sales or Sales Operations role

Application Window: Application window will close April 5 , 2025.

Pay Range $150,000 - $180,000 annually + bonus eligibility (see below).

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

LBP Eligible Positions: The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
