The RCMSS Business Analysis and Requirements Team at Labcorp has an opportunity for a talented Business Analyst to join a motivated and productive team in delivering enterprise-level solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers from users to senior leadership to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver functional requirements, use cases, and user interface designs as necessary.
  • Drive and challenge business units on their concepts of how they will successfully execute their plans.
  • Create development-ready requirements with specifications according to standards, using natural language.
  • Be the liaison between business units, technology teams, support teams, and business partners/vendors.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Provide input into Test Plan creation and support test plan validation as required for QA.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Provide clear, concise project status updates to stakeholders; tailoring content to audience.
  • Identify roadblocks and urgently escalate obstacles for timely resolution.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Use case experience.
  • Experience gathering requirements.
  • Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal - with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and keep participants on track in a predominantly virtual setting.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and flexibility.
  • Proven analytical abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, project management software (JIRA, Visual Paradigm, Clarity, Confluence, Kanban), and chat tools preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and user testing preferred.
  • Extensive experience with requirement visualization including familiarity with wire-framing and workflows preferred.
  • Strong preference for knowledge of software development practices and Agile methodology.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
