Job Description
- Conduct macro and micro analysis of the beer market so as to ascertain consumer trends in the global brewing industry and also in each segment, in order to identify sales opportunities.
- Write business reviews and analyses on the impact of product promotions, brochures, prices and marketing, as well as recommendations that will encourage growth of the category for Labatt brands.
- Create planograms based on category analysis and on objectives of profitability, quantities and aesthetics. Manage the Nielsen data bank.
- Develop and distribute new marketing tools for major accounts and the sales force.
- Analyze retail and market level data to recommend category assortment in store
Job Qualifications
- B.A. in business administration (with a major in marketing) or in a related discipline.
- Close to 3 years' experience, ideally in retail sales and marketing.
- Skilled in analysis and observation focused on consumer behaviour.
- Ability to plan and priorize routine and ad hoc tasks in order to reach established objectives.
- Mastery of Windows environment and Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Practical experience in complex data bank processing an asset (Access, Spaceman, Workstation).
- Excellent communication skills; must speak and write well in English.
- Independent and dynamic, with good people skills.
- Experience with working with JDA planogramming suite
