As a Systems Administration Datacom Specialist here at Kyndryl Czech Republic, you will plan and perform the installation and version upgrades of middleware products (CICS, MQ, IMS) on the mainframe platform. You will understand the complexities of infrastructure design and maintenance, analyze architecture and security issues, and perform advanced troubleshooting.

This role has on-call duty requirement, rotational one week per month.

Key responsibilities of your role will include:

• Installing and upgrading DC systems (CICS, Websphere MQ, IMS) and related products from Kyndryl or ISV (Omegamon, Db2 Admin tool, etc.).
• Maintaining DC systems and defining objects.
• Analyzing and designing architecture.
• Monitoring and tuning performance.
• Performing advanced troubleshooting.
• Analyzing security issues and preventing defects.
• Conducting root cause analysis.
• Showcasing your multi-environment expertise and maintaining comprehensive operational documentation.
• Managing problems and changes with agility and efficiency.
• Providing on-duty service coverage.

Required Skills and Expertise

• +5 years of Experience with z/OS and/or z/VM operating systems
• Knowledge of JES2/3, TSO, Storage, and RACF
• Advanced JCL knowledge
• Experience with Datacom products (CICS, IMS, MQ) including maintenance, troubleshooting, object definition, and performance analysis and tuning
• Proficiency in English at level B2 or higher

Preferred Skills and Expertise

• Experience with Automation products on zOS (IBM System Automation/Netview for z/OS, BMC AO TOM, etc.)
• Proficiency in French (optional)+
