The Role

Join our dynamic team as a Practice Leader for our Digital Workplace Solutions practice and become an integral part of our cutting-edge Go-To-Market team. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a recent track record in building, selling and developing Digital Workplace Services, and can lead and drive the development of this Practice so that Kyndryl becomes a leader in the UK & Ireland in this area.

As a Practice Leader, you will leverage your strong technical and business acumen to deliver value-driven solutions within our practice service domains. Your exceptional customer-facing skills, combined with your articulate communication style and interpersonal finesse, will allow you to effectively convey the technical advantages of Kyndryl's offerings, ensuring they align perfectly with each customer's unique needs.

As a strategic thinker, you will analyze the complex business and technical requirements of our customers, utilising Kyndryl's extensive capabilities to craft winning cross-practice solutions. Your expertise in developing and presenting compelling demonstrations, proof of concepts, and prototypes will showcase the tangible value our services provide, fostering a desire among customers to partner with us.

In addition to your technical knowledge, you will lead the coordination of the entire pre-sales process, ensuring quality and compliance while adhering to Kyndryl's best practices. Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, you will generate successful proposals and create optimal technical solutions. Furthermore, you will cultivate and nurture relationships with our external alliance partners, promoting a collaborative environment where joint solutions are developed.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Recognised as a Subject Matter Expert in the relevant practice area, with deep technical specialisation capable of engaging in detailed discussions with CIOs, CTOs, and Chief Architects while understanding customer needs and key buying criteria.
  • Project Design and Delivery: Able to integrate technical knowledge with project construction to design deliverable solutions, leveraging customer delivery experiences to shape requirements and ensure alignment with both Kyndryl and client objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers and colleagues, displaying authentic interest in their objectives and effectively managing stakeholders to achieve success for all parties involved.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrates strong commercial shaping capabilities, managing P&L effectively, minimising commercial risks, and optimising profit through proven experience in shaping commercial propositions and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Inspires and leads a cohesive team by being highly visible, balancing customer and business needs, and directing efforts to areas of greatest value, while driving professionalism and personal development within the team.
  • Cultural Transformation: Drives cultural transformation within the team and customer relationships, embracing change and putting customer needs at the center of operations to enhance Kyndryl's footprint and influence.
  • Adaptability and Innovation: Adapts supporting tools, methodologies, and approaches to engage in successful sales conversations, while developing new capabilities and offerings that align with business trends and operational realities.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exhibits high emotional intelligence (EQ), open-mindedness, and empathy, listening actively to others and demonstrating self-awareness and personal integrity in all interactions.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience selling technical services for multi-industry customers
