Job Summary

The Internal Resource Manager is responsible for developing and executing staffing, project placement, and performance feedback strategies to meet the Security organization's goals and objectives. The Resource Manager would pilot the first phase of Security's new organizational structure that removes working silos and builds a unified cross collaborative working environment.

The candidate would have a subset of Security employees HR reporting to them. They would own the administrative-related tasks, project offboarding performance management and review, and work in coordination with Practice Managers and Directors to ensure right fit staffing on projects. The candidate will provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and guidance as consultants execute on their engagements. The candidate will act as a liaison between Security departments to align staffing with employee and organizational goals, enhance the company's brand, and streamline workforce planning and placement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the hiring process of new joiners beginning to end, including requisition creation/posting, candidate assessment and selection, onboarding, coaching, etc.
  • Collaborate with project and industry practice leaders to proactively plan workforce needs and requirements.
  • Be a SME in their resource's skills and competencies for ideal project placement based on fit, timeline, mutual interest, career goals, and future pipeline.
  • Upskill and enable resources to be fluid across multiple industry practice areas that best align their skills to industry-specific areas.
  • Be the first point of contact for any issue escalation, PTO/leave requests, professional development, and other administrative tasks.
  • Seek and record performance feedback on resource project roll off; incorporate into future project staffing decision.
  • Represent the employee during the performance rating process
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on organizational dynamics, trends and best practices.
  • Provides leadership and direction for team, driving culture change and transformation initiatives to support business goals.
  • Takes ownership of key business processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and continuously improved.
  • Identifies operational risks and develop mitigation plans. Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in internal recruitment, staffing, or a related HR role, with a strong track record of successful hires and strategic workforce planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and HR technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
