The Role
As a Infra Engineers - Desktop Support at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.
There's never a typical day as a Infra Engineers - Desktop Support at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You'll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You'll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

You will be responsible for Documentation & Training: Document system configurations, deployment strategies, and integration processes. Provide guidance and support to end-users through training materials and knowledge sharing.
You will be responsible for Troubleshooting & System Optimization: Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting collaboration tool-related issues and optimize performance across the platform, ensuring high availability, security, and seamless operation. Responsible to Work with other IT teams to integrate collaboration tools with existing infrastructure such as Active Directory, cloud services (Azure), and identity management solutions. Ensure that security and compliance standards are upheld across all tools and platforms. Responsible for Security & Compliance: Ensure desktop systems are secure, compliant with organizational policies, and meet industry standards for endpoint protection, encryption, and access control.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in desktop infrastructure, system administration, or IT engineering.
- Expertise in administering Windows, macOS, and Linux desktop systems.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Citrix).
- Familiarity with desktop management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, JAMF, SALT, SOTI or similar).
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and cloud services (e.g., Azure).
- Experience with security best practices, endpoint protection, and compliance frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience in system administration, collaboration tools, or infrastructure engineering.
- Expertise in deploying and managing collaboration platforms such as M365, Exchange, Proof Point, Hive/Microsoft eCDN etc.
- Experience with A/V and conference room technologies, such as Teams Rooms, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with digital display technologies such as X2O or similar digital signage solutions.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as Panopto, MASV or other media/content platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructures (e.g., Azure, AWS) and Active Directory integration.
- Experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, or other scripting languages for automation.
- Experience in A/V Systems & Conference Room Technologies:Manage the integration of A/V systems for video conferencing and collaboration, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, and other conference room technology. Oversee setup and optimization of conference room A/V hardware, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Develop automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Microsoft Graph) to streamline the deployment and management of collaboration tools and systems. Automate tasks such as user provisioning, content migration, and system updates
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional.
- Experience with desktop virtualization platforms (e.g., Citrix).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for system automation.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar certifications.
- Familiarity with video management and streaming platforms like Panopto
- Experience with digital signage management platforms (e.g., X2O).
- Bachelor's Degree.
