The Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Lead of Facilities Technology to oversee and drive our facilities technology strategy on a global scale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of our facilities worldwide.

The candidate will lead the development of business requirements for facilities technology solutions and the implementation and adoption of the solutions in partnership with Kyndryl technology partners. The candidate will act as the primary point of contact for all systems and technology tools utilized within workplace management. Additionally, this person will ensure the implemented technology platform can grow to meet the current and future global portfolio needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive facilities technology strategy aligned with the company's global objectives and sustainability goals.
  • Lead the implementation of innovative technologies such as IoT, AI, and automation to optimize facility operations, maintenance, and energy management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions across all facilities.
  • Manage and mentor a global team of facilities technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the selection, deployment, and maintenance of technology systems and equipment to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
  • Develop and manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to support technology initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to identify opportunities for technology adoption and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in facilities technology.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in a leadership role within facilities technology, with a strong track record of successful technology implementation and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of facilities management systems, IoT, AI, automation, and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Master's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $116,760 to $221,880 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different appliable compensation range for the following work locations:

California:$128,400 to $266,040

Colorado: $116,760 to $221,880

New York City: $140,040 to $266,040

Washington: $128,400 to $243,960

Washington DC: $128,400 to $243,960

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, vision and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
