The Role

Key areas of responsibility

• Belong to the Marketing team in Japan and collaborate with the HR department to develop and implement recruitment marketing strategies.

  • Drive attraction campaigns in partnership with our recruitment and marketing teams leveraging paid, owned and earned channels. This will require in-depth knowledge of the Japan talent marketplace and our talent competitive landscape.
  • Working closely with our Social Media team you'll lead the Employer Brand organic social efforts to highlight our key hiring opportunities and the Kyndryl employee experience, developing the strategy and creating the content for Kyndryl brand channels on LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
  • Partnering with the Marketing team to identify opportunities to showcase employer brand and recruiting messages and call-to-actions into existing marketing activity.
  • Our Kyndryl Japan careers website is our shop front for candidates. You will lead and drive the strategy for the site, creation of content and ongoing optimizations and page updates.
  • recruiter engagement to ensure that our recruiters have everything they need at their fingertips to promote our opportunities - talking points, social assets, email content, etc and work with our internal and external agencies on creation of new materials as needed.
  • Drive employer brand activation in the Japan market to motivate employee and make Kyndryl employer of choice.
  • And finally - everything you do will be data driven - managing all the metrics and results from our campaigns to drive our future attraction strategy.

What you'll need to be successful in this role

  • This role will be based in Japan and requires a Japanese and English speaker.
  • You must have experience leading and managing talent marketing and employer brand activities and campaigns in Japan.
  • Good social eminence and experience - so you can partner with the Marketing content team to generate great stories, and then bringing them to life through the right channel mix.
  • Demonstrate that you can build strong cross-functional working relationships to drive seamlessly towards outcomes in partnership across teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong program management skills with a proven track record of success in driving and delivering strategic/transformative initiatives.
  • Possess an analytical mindset that drives strategic business decisions through the use of facts, metrics, and data.
  • Superb written communication skills to be able to make every piece of content lasting, engaging and informative.

Who You Are

Required Skills:

• Over 5 years of experience in recruitment marketing or talent acquisition (preferably in IT, SaaS, and consulting industries)

• In-depth knowledge of the recruitment market and trends in the IT industry

• Experience in planning and executing social media advertising and digital marketing strategies

• Experience in developing strategies for recruitment branding and candidate engagement

• Experience in planning and optimizing recruitment initiatives using data analysis (experience with Google Analytics and BI tools is a plus)

• Experience in driving initiatives to improve the candidate experience

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

• Native level Japanese and business level English (collaboration with global teams is required)

Preferred Skills (desirable but can be developed after joining):

• Experience in recruitment in IT consulting, operational delivery, sales, and marketing fields

• Experience in planning and managing recruitment events (both online and offline)

• Experience in creating content for recruitment branding (blogs, videos, podcasts, webinars, etc.)

• Experience in recruitment DX (data analysis, AI utilization, ATS system implementation)
