The Role

The Chief of Staff for Financial and Strategic Services (FSS) will play a pivotal role in driving the daily operations and strategic initiatives of the organization. This leadership position demands a proactive and dynamic individual who will work closely with the Managing Partner of FSS to execute organizational priorities, enhance communication, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Managing Partner of Financial services and the team in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic plans.
  • Ensure initiatives align with company goals and manage cross-functional projects to drive execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes.
  • Lead efforts to streamline workflows, improve communication, and enhance decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefs for the Managing Partner.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams and ensure key messages from leadership are delivered clearly.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of key projects and initiatives, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the executive team and departments to foster collaboration.
  • Identify potential risks to projects and business operations.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate these risks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

  • A minimum of 5 years of extensive leadership experience in similar or senior management roles, with a proven track record of driving organizational success.
  • Strong ability to contribute to and shape the organization's strategic direction.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and ensuring their successful completion.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a talent for identifying and solving problems efficiently.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly organized, with a focus on detail and the ability to manage large volumes of information and tasks.
  • This position is based in Toronto, Canada, and the candidate must reside in the country
